Serving Our People is one of Australia’s fastest growing charities. Established during the global pandemic in March 2020 to serve and support those in need by delivering anything to anyone in need. Serving Our People has grown to a mobilised team of more than 2,100 Serving Our People members across SE QLD & NSW ready to support their community during time of crisis and in times of need. We are proud to have grown our support efforts around the country and are now able to deliver 19,000 meals, and more than 1000 bags of love (groceries) per year to households in need. Serving Our People supplies complimentary pick-up and drop-off delivery of critical goods supporting the needs of over 55,000 recipients through the efforts of our volunteers. This is just the beginning as we increase our focus, expand our team, and innovate our methods of serving the people of Australia. As we continue to serve all Australians, we will work to effect real change.

Our mission is to serve the people of Australia in whatever capacity they need be they infants, children, families, the elderly, displaced or disadvantaged individuals and communities, carers, disaster victims or people living with a disability. We are a registered Australian charity and all donations over $2 are fully tax-deductible as an endorsed Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) by the Australian Tax Office.

Our Mission

  • Our mission is to serve the people of Australia in whatever capacity they need be they families, the elderly, displaced or disadvantaged individuals and communities, carers, disaster victims or people living with a disability.

Our Impact in the Community

  • Supported and served over 55,000 recipients doing it tough since inception.

  • Supported flood affected areas throughout South-East Queensland and Northern NSW and was one of the leading relief organisations to help deliver essential goods (meals, groceries, household items and furniture) to all those in need.

  • Opening of the first free supermarket in Queensland to help feed struggling households – Official opening in December 2022.

  • Rolled out non-perishable food item donation boxes in major supermarkets in Queensland to assist collection of groceries for hungry Australians.

  • Continue to support and deliver much needed goods to hundreds of charities and their recipients in need.

  • Supporting children and families landing on our shores from Ukraine and Afghanistan ensuring they receive essentials and household items.

  • We deliver every day to cancer survivors, domestic violence victims, infants and newborn baby items as well as to their families, individuals with disabilities, the elderly and to recipients doing it tough from all walks of life.

  • Creation of the first Serving Our People hub in Queensland and our national headquarters that will officially launch in December 2022.

  • Partnership with the first mobile vaccination unit that served relentlessly during the pandemic.

  • Serving Our People was born due to the pandemic to help people in the Gold Coast, Logan, Brisbane, and Northern NSW where it helped thousands in quarantine, and in isolation.

  • Serving Our People has been a platform for corporates and restaurants giving them a chance to serve the community by donating meals, time and financial support.

  • Serving Our People has housed homeless friends in as fast as 48 hours from their call for help.

  • A team of over 2,100 volunteers serving and reacting fast to the communities’ need.

  • Recipients who have received our help have become empowered, and once settled have then volunteered to help disadvantaged Australians similarly.

  • Attracted a very large volunteer base in just over two years which includes many young volunteers.

  • Successful activations in the community such as the annual Christmas lunch for the homeless and the toy drive for children that have been displaced into shelters due to domestic violence.
